Lakefield Farm is a Milwaukee area horse boarding stable with a warm, friendly atmosphere and a focus on growth and learning. We offer high-quality boarding facilities and custom care for your horse. Lakefield Farm has roomy box stalls, indoor and outdoor arenas, a heated tack room, wash stall, 12 grass pastures and beautiful private trails. We're conveniently located in Grafton, WI, just off I-43 and only 20 minutes from Milwaukee.


Our balanced-riding philosophy and experienced trainers provide everything you need to advance your horsemanship. Whether you ride English or Western, compete or enjoy the beauty of a trail ride, our training and lesson programs will help you and your horse reach your potential. Join the Lakefield Farm Equestrian Team

Our Equestrian Show Team is all about giving young riders a competitive edge for a successful show season. As part of the Lakefield Farm Equestrian Show Team, you’ll work with other riders to learn and support each other. You’ll also benefit from our clinics, have access to experienced trainers and will receive discounts on trailering, and show day training.

Mini Clinics - Back to the Basics

We are offering an excellent opportunity to learn more about horsemanship while working with the horses on the ground.

Groundwork on the Trails -

Sunday April 29th 1:00 p.m.. - 3:00 p.m..

  • Build  confidence for you and your horse on the trails.
  • Work on trail obstacles from the ground.
  • Learn how to make your horse a better and more confident trail mount


Groundwork Challenge

Sunday May 13th 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

  • Work with at least four different horses
  • Learn how to become more clear
  • Find out how your groundwork holds up when faced with different horses and how this can help you improve
  • Learn how to read the horses sooner to get better response

Spook Control -

Sunday May 20th 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

  • Learn to help your horse stay under control
  • Discuss everyday situations that cause your horse to spook
  • Find ways to help your horse be more confident and trust in you.
